Though I met him late in his life, it was an honor to have known him at all. He so generously gave to all those around him and made the short time I had with him to go to some events a treat and pleasure. May he find peace.
Buzz died November 19th, 2016, after a long illness. A wonderful memorial was held for him on January 22nd, 2017, and many Billy’s were in attendance. He was an activist, sex positive warrior and good friend to many.
Buzz was my Pied Piper – he held the door open for me so I could begin my life as a gay man, he brought me to the Billys, and by example, he showed me how to live a life, channeling the power of imagination and making it manifest. He’s one among a select few who helped me to grow my planetary and personal consciousness.
