The Billys
The Billys play a unique role in the GBTQ community by creating safe, inclusive, affordable, and heart-centered gatherings in a safe, supportive, and loving environment. Your donations help keep the gatherings affordable, allowing us to offer scholarships and discounts, and pays to keep the organization running.

Other Ways to Donate
IRA
if you are over 70 1/2 years old, contact your financial or tax advisor for further information on tax-free distributions from your IRA or 401(k). The check must be issued directly to The Billy Foundation. Doing good while minimizing taxes!
Qualified Charitable Deduction (QCD)
A QCD (a type of RMD – Required Minimum Distribution) allows you to donate directly from your IRA to a qualified charity, starting at age 73. It counts towards your RMD – but does not count as taxable income. This lowers Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) which keeps down Medicare premiums and taxes on Social Security benefits. QCDs work even if you don’t itemize and take the Standard Deduction.
